MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin, May 12 -- The Human Rights Campaign issued the following news release:
Today, the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), the nation's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) civil rights organization, responded to the Republican Party of Wisconsin's vote to endorse State Senator Leah Vukmir for the United States Senate. An anti-LGBTQ extremist, Vukmir is out of touch with the majority of Wisconsinites who support equality.
