Appropriations Committee Releases Fiscal Year 2019 Interior and Environment Bill

WASHINGTON, May 14 -- Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-New Jersey, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, issued the following news release:

In total, the bill provides $35.252 billion, equal to the fiscal year 2018 enacted level. These funds are targeted to important programs that support and protect the nation's natural resources, including $3.9 billion for the Department of the Interior and U.S. Forest Service to prevent and combat devastating wildfires.
