FRANKFORT, Kentucky, May 14 -- The Kentucky Department of Education issued the following news release:
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) is seeking feedback on the revised Kentucky Academic Standards for Reading and Writing, formerly known as English/language arts standards. The department has renamed the standards to align with the provisions of the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and Senate Bill 1 (2017).
