AUSTIN, Texas, May 9 -- The Texas Education Agency issued the following document from Associate Commissioner Cory Green:
TEA is preparing to issue three federal grants to aid students and schools affected by the 2017 hurricanes. Though TEA is still awaiting final guidelines and requirements for these grants, the funds must be distributed on a very tight timeline. As a result, the application processes for these grants will require quick responses from applicants.
