BRONX, New York, May 9 -- Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. issued the following news release:
NYC- Today, the full City Council passed three bills concerning fire safety, prevention and education introduced by Council Members Ritchie Torres and Chaim Deutsch at the request of Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. The three bills passed the Council unanimously by a vote of 49-0. The bills now head to Mayor de Blasio's desk for his signature, and are expected to be enacted . . .
