BOWIE, Maryland, May 9 -- Bowie State University issued the following news release:
Bowie State University is ready to launch a newly installed solar panel system, supporting the university's goal to reduce its carbon footprint. President Aminta H. Breaux and officials from WGL Energy will join other dignitaries to ceremoniously flip the switch to activate the university's solar power system on Monday, May 21 at 11 a.m. under the solar canopy in parking lot D.
