MINEOLA, New York, May 8 -- Family and Children's Association issued the following news release:
Long Island nonprofit Family & Children's Association (FCA) has received a $48,000 grant through the Newsday Charities, a McCormick Foundation fund. For the second consecutive year, all proceeds from the grant will support FCA's Learning Center program, located in Hempstead, New York.
The after-school center was launched in 2016 to serve at-risk vulnerable . . .
