DENVER, Colorado, April 17 -- The Colorado House Republicans issued the following news release:
Today, House Democrats pushed through, on a party-line vote, legislation that greatly complicates 529 savings accounts in Colorado. In December, Congress passed the Tax Reform and Jobs Act, which allows parents to use 529 savings accounts for K-12 education in addition to higher education expenses. However, Colorado currently only allows higher education expenses as qualified distribution . . .
