BRUSSELS, Belgium, March 27 -- The European Union's European Economic and Social Committee issued the following news release:
Disability discrimination in Europe averages 15 percent, but in Portugal this figure increases to 65 percent. Surprisingly, the Portuguese Government has no national strategy for persons with disabilities.
