DENVER, Colorado, March 26 -- The Colorado House Republicans issued the following news release:
Today, Democrats on the House Education Committee killed, on a party-line vote, a bill that would have aligned Colorado's tax code with the recent changes made to federal taxes regarding 529 savings accounts.
In December, Congressional Republican-led tax reform, known as the Tax Reform and Jobs Act, changed federal tax policy to allow parents to use 529 savings accounts . . .
