AAMC Issues Statement on Senate Passage of Omnibus Bill

WASHINGTON, March 25 -- The Association of American Medical Colleges issued the following statement by President and CEO Darrell G. Kirchy on passage of an omnibus appropriations bill for fiscal 2018 by the Senate:
"The AAMC is thankful that the Senate has joined with the House and has passed the bipartisan omnibus spending bill. By investing in programs across the health care continuum, the legislation provides support for patients and the medical schools and teaching hospital . . .
