ATLANTA, Georgia, March 8 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release:
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded a $200,000 Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA) rebate to the Winston County Board of Education in Double Springs, Ala. to reduce emissions from diesel engines. The rebate will fund the retrofitting and replacement of 10 school buses as part of its ongoing effort to reduce emissions from diesel vehicles.
