WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Sen. John Thune, R-South Dakota, chairman of the Senate Commerce, Science and Transportation Committee, issued the following statement after Secretary Elaine Chao announced that the Department of Transportation has approved a $21 million Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery grant to restore Bureau of Indian Affairs Route 10 in Lower Brule.
