WASHINGTON, March 6 -- Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington, ranking Democratic member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, issued the following statement on the recommendations of the Education Department's Inspector General to strengthen accountability in the reauthorization of the Higher Education Act:
