Record Number of Students Visit Highlands for GEAR UP Event

LAS VEGAS, New Mexico, Feb. 28 -- New Mexico Highlands University issued the following news:
A record number of approximately 900 middle and high school students from across the state visited the New Mexico Highlands campus Feb. 28 to get a head start on becoming college students.
The students were on campus for a GEAR UP New Mexico college visit Highlands co-hosted. GEAR UP stands for Gaining Early Awareness and Readiness for Undergraduate Programs.
