EDINBURG, Texas, Feb. 27 -- The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley issued the following news release:
The University of Texas System Board of Regents gave The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) the green light to construct a new building for the ever-growing UTRGV School of Medicine. The project will be funded through the Permanent University Funds (PUF) that the Board of Regents previously pledged at the inception of UTRGV. The expansion will cost $12.2 million.
