WASHINGTON, Feb. 26 -- Rep. Greg Walden, R-Oregon, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, issued the following news release:
The House of Representatives today passed six public health bills, five of which originated in the Energy and Commerce Committee. Collectively, the bills prioritize prevention efforts, improve education for medical professionals, and establish or reauthorize important grant programs.
