WASHINGTON, Feb. 23 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee, issued the following statement after being appointed by House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin, as a member of the Joint Select Committee on the Solvency of Multiemployer Pension Plans:
