NEW YORK, Feb. 20 -- Teach For America issued the following news release:
Ballmer Group, the philanthropic organization founded by Steve and Connie Ballmer, is granting $10 million, over five years, to Teach For America. The nonprofit organization will use the gift to recruit, train, and develop a diverse network of leaders who confront educational inequity through teaching and work with unwavering commitment from every sector to create a nation free from educational injustice.
