Babson College to Restore, Relocate Historic Globe to Heart of Campus

BABSON PARK, Massachusetts, Feb. 20 -- Babson College issued the following news:

Babson College plans to restore its historic Globe and make it the centerpiece of a symbolic new park that will be located near the heart of its Wellesley campus. Commissioned in 1947 by founder Roger Babson to represent his vision for the worldwide impact of the College's mission, the Globe was, for decades, the largest rotating replica of the Earth in the world.
