LATHAM, New York, Jan. 24 -- The New York State School Boards Association issued the following statement by Executive Director Timothy G. Kremer:
"We are encouraged by Governor Cuomo's Executive Order today requiring Internet Service Providers (ISPs) who enter into contracts with New York State to adhere to net neutrality principles.
"While this action does not apply directly to school districts, it is a good first step toward bringing net neutrality principle . . .
