AIKEN, South Carolina, Jan. 23 -- University of South Carolina's Aiken campus issued the following news release:
Dr. Daren Timmons, dean of the Unviversity of South Carolina Aiken's College of Sciences and Engineering, addressed the community, business, and politicial leaders of Augusta during the Kiwanis' weekly luncheon meeting at St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
He shared with members of the Downtown Kiwanis of Augusta the benefits of a liberal arts education.
