KINGSTON, Rhode Island, Jan. 22 -- The University of Rhode Island issued the following news release:
The University of Rhode Island, the state's flagship university, is devoted to big ideas, while TED, a nonprofit organization, is devoted to ideas worth spreading. Thus, it makes perfect sense that on Feb. 10, URI will host its own TEDx event, where 14 speakers will present their own big ideas worth sharing.
Tickets for the event go on sale at noon on Tuesday, Jan. 23. V . . .
