HOLLAND, Michigan, Jan. 22 -- Hope College issued the following news release:
Dr. Christopher Fashun of the Hope College music faculty has had a passion for Afro-Brazilian music since being introduced to it during his own undergraduate days in Minnesota.
Throughout his career as a music educator, he has valued the opportunity to teach Brazilian music and culture, and he was offered the opportunity to start a Brazilian music program when he joined the Hope faculty in 201 . . .
