ATLANTA, Georgia, Jan. 19 -- The Georgia House of Representatives issued the following news release:
State Representative David Casas (R-Lilburn), the first Hispanic Republican state lawmaker, announced Monday that he will not seek reelection in 2018. Rep Casas will retire at the end of his current term after serving 16 years in the Georgia General Assembly.
