ARKANSAS CITY, Kansas, Jan. 18 -- Cowley College issued the following news release:
"Linda Hargrove is a pioneer in women's sports at Cowley College," wrote Cowley College president Dr. Dennis C. Rittle in the summary of the naming committee's recommendation to the Cowley College Board of Trustees. The legendary basketball and volleyball coach left her mark on the college and will be honored for her accomplishments as the Board approved the naming advisory commit . . .
