TUCSON, Arizona, Jan. 17 -- The University of Arizona issued the following news release:
The Center for Rural Health at the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health and the Arizona Department of Health Services will collaborate on a $2.2 million federal grant to train first responders to recognize opioid overdoses and administer naloxone, a drug used to counter the effects of opioid overdose and save lives.
