CAMBRIDGE, Massachusetts, Jan. 16 -- The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Sloan School of Management issued the following news release:

Wood is increasingly being used to replace coal as a source of electricity generation in many regions such as the European Union, where policymakers have declared it "carbon neutral."
