OLYMPIA, Washington, Jan. 16 -- Washington House Democrats issued the following news release:
On Monday, January 15, Rep. Tana Senn, D-Mercer Island, introduced a bipartisan joint resolution calling on the federal government to fund the 2020 Census adequately.
In addition, the resolution calls for the appointment of a new director for the Federal Census Bureau, which has been operating without a permanent director since John H. Thompson stepped down in June of last year . . .
