WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- The American Bar Association issued the following statement by President Hilarie Bass:
"The American Bar Association is encouraged by bipartisan discussions to address immigration reform and the plight of young people known as Dreamers. At the same time, we are concerned about the fate of approximately 250,000 Salvadorans, 60,000 Haitians and 5,000 Nicaraguans who have lost their temporary protected status in the past two months.
