MONTPELIER, Vermont, Jan. 10 -- Lt. Gov. David E. Zuckerman, Progressive Party-Vermont, issued the following news release:
Today the Senate passed H.511, a bill legalizing possession of small amounts of cannabis for Vermonters over the age of 21. This follows growing public support and more than 17 years of work in the Vermont legislature.
