WASHINGTON, Jan. 10 -- The National Endowment for the Humanities issued the following news release:
Dr. Bruce Cole, a scholar of Renaissance art, cultural critic, and chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities from 2001 to 2009, died Monday, January 8.
