WASHINGTON, Jan. 9 -- The office of Sen. Tim Scott, R-South Carolina, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) announced today that he will now be serving on the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, which has jurisdiction over matters relating to the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force and a variety of other defense-related issues.
