UH Hilo Student Earns Semester at Sea Scholarship

HILO, Hawaii, Jan. 9 -- The University of Hawaii's Hilo campus issued the following news release:
A University of Hawaii at Hilo student has received a Semester at Sea (SAS) Scholarship in the amount of $16,533 to participate in the Spring 2018 SAS voyage. Lindsay Johnson, a junior majoring in Environmental Science, is currently on a 102-day, around-the-world visit to 11 countries and 15 cities on four continents that began on January 5 from San Diego, California.
