COCHRAN, Georgia, Jan. 8 -- Middle Georgia State College issued the following news release:
Heather Sumner, a senior majoring in Education at Middle Georgia State University, got more than she bargained for late last year when she, along with recent MGA grad Meagan Pittman, and a few others visited friends in Gonaives, Haiti.
And she couldn't be happier about it.
Because Sumner and Pittman have teaching backgrounds, one of the friends who lives in Haiti ema . . .
