John Thune, R-South Dakota, chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, issued the following floor remarks ahead of the Federal Communications Commission's planned vote on Chairman Ajit Pai's Restoring Internet Freedom order to repeal the regulation of the internet put in place in 2015 under the Obama administration:
