Cherokee Nation Tribal Council Confirms Three Board Appointments

TAHLEQUAH, Oklahoma, Dec. 12 -- The Cherokee Nation, a federally-recognized Native American tribe, issued the following news release:

Cherokee Nation Tribal Councilors appointed Dr. Gary Dan Davis to the Cherokee Nation Foundation's board of directors at the December meeting Monday.

Davis, of Tahlequah, is the clinic administrator of the Cherokee Nation A-Mo Health Center in Salina and will serve on the board for the Cherokee Nation Foundation through December 2021 . . .
