WASHINGTON, Dec. 12 -- Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-North Carolina, chairman of the House Education and the Workforce Committee, issued the following statement at the markup of the PROSPER Act (H.R. 4508):
"We are here today to consider H.R. 4508, the Promoting Real Opportunity, Success, and Prosperity through Education Reform Act--the PROSPER Act.
