CHISINAU, Moldova, Dec. 11 -- The U.S. Embassy in Moldova issued the following Ambassador James Pettit on Anti Corruption Day:
"Corruption is the #1 problem in Moldova. Corruption affects all of our lives. Corruption impairs our education. It affects endangers our health. It damages our property and compromises our security.
"Corruption is OUR problem, and each of us can fight it. Join with me by pledging to fight corruption, resist it, and never be part of it . . .
