LANSING, Michigan, Dec. 11 -- Gov. Rick Snyder, R-Michigan, issued the following proclamation:
WHEREAS, metabolic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and low HDL cholesterol affect more than 25 percent of Americans and are chronic conditions linked to obesity, age, an individual's lifestyle, and insulin resistance; and,
