WASHINGTON, Nov. 21 -- The office of Sen. Thomas Carper, D-Delaware, issued the following statement after Republicans on the committee approved legislation to remake our entire economy and begin dismantling the Affordable Care Act:
"This evening, Republicans on the Senate Finance Committee approved a bill to repeal a critical part of the Affordable Care Act, and blow a hole of at least $1.5 trillion in our federal deficit over the next 10 years in order to give millions of doll . . .
