MARYVILLE, Mo., Nov. 4 -- Northwest Missouri State University issued the following news release:
Northwest Missouri State University has announced Dr. Jamie Hooyman will serve as its next provost.
Hooyman (pronounced HOY-man), who was serving as the University's interim provost, becomes the first woman to be named provost in Northwest's history and begins her new role immediately.
