Sen. Franken Pays Tribute to Maj. Gen. Nash

WASHINGTON, Nov. 4 -- Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., issued the following statement, which was published in the Congressional Record on Nov. 1, paying tribute to Maj. Gen. Richard C. Nash:

Mr. President, today I wish to recognize and celebrate the career of Minnesota Adjutant General Richard C. Nash. Major General Nash retired on October 31st, after leading the Minnesota National Guard for the past 7 years. His leadership has ensured the excellence of the Minnesota National Guard.
