HAMPTON, Va., Nov. 4 -- Hampton University issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Education has awarded Hampton University nearly $1.2 million to fund its Ronald McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program. The project will prepare 25 low-income, first-generation students and underrepresented students as they work toward a doctoral degree.
