WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- The National Association for Gifted Children issued the following news release:
The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) named Tina Cook a 2017 Javits-Frasier Scholar. Cook is a gifted teacher at Burney Elementary School in Plant City, FL. She will attend the NAGC 64th Annual Convention next week in Charlotte, NC to further develop her skills in spotting and supporting gifted learners from low income and minority backgrounds.
