WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- The National Association for Gifted Children issued the following news release:
The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) named Jennifer Silva a 2017 Javits-Frasier Scholar. Silva is a gifted and talented teacher at Candlewood Elementary School in San Antonio, TX. She will attend the NAGC 64th Annual Convention next week in Charlotte, NC to further develop her skills in spotting and supporting gifted learners from low income and minority backgrounds. . . .
