WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- The National Association for Gifted Children issued the following news release:
The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) named Karen Arbour a 2017 Javits-Frasier Scholar. Arbour is a gifted specialist at the Arcadia Neighborhood Learning Center in Scottsdale, AZ. She will attend the NAGC 64th Annual Convention next week in Charlotte, NC to further develop her skills in spotting and supporting gifted learners from low income and minority backgrounds. . . .
