WASHINGTON, Oct. 31 -- The National Association for Gifted Children issued the following news release:
The National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC) named Amber Peck a 2017 Javits-Frasier Scholar. Peck is an ESOL teacher at Meadow Park Elementary School in North Little Rock, AR. She will attend the NAGC 64th Annual Convention next week in Charlotte, NC to further develop her skills in spotting and supporting gifted learners from low income and minority backgrounds.
