ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 5 -- The New York State Education Department issued the following news release:
Dr. Janny Venema, Assistant Director of the New Netherland Research Center at the New York State Library, has been appointed Knight in the Order of Orange Nassau by the Netherlands government.
