Arizona Department of Education Recognizes National Dyslexia Awareness Month

PHOENIX, Oct. 2 -- The Arizona Department of Education issued the following news release:
There are over 40 million Americans who are dyslexic, yet only 2 million know it. As we learn more about dyslexia it is important that we bring awareness to that information.
In April, Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas unveiled The Dyslexia Handbook; a resource available for families and teachers to help identify and support students with dyslexia.
